The exceptional young British author Steven Hall created a huge buzz at last year's London Book Fair. His fiercely original page-turner, The Raw Shark Texts (Canongate)/Gehaaid (Ambo|Anthos), has already sold foreign rights in more than 20 countries – as well as movie rights to FilmFour. And, if that wasn't enough, Nicole Kidman even rang him up to ask him to change protagonist, Eric Sanderson, into a woman so she could play the part. Not bad for a debut novel...
