"A sensory storyteller, who plays both a fierce rhythmic and sensitive guitar. A vocal quality of passion, vulnerability and power, all rolled up into one."

A sensual solo artist who has been writing songs and playing guitar since she was 14 Lily Kiara was inspired by the Seattle music scene where she opened shows for many of Seattle’s songwriters.

Now, having performed in New York, San Francisco and London Lily is based in Amsterdam. With her she brings her experience to the songs, poems and improvised music she now creates with Michael Moore (clarinet), Felicity Provan (cornet, vocals), Julyen Hamilton (poems) and Rozemarie Heggen (double bass).

Lily released her debut album No Alibi in the summer of 2001. The album has reviews in Heaven, Fret, Music Maker and at www.popinstituut.nl, with a place for ‘When he Smiles’ in ‘Antjes Achttien’ the Netherlands pop listing. Her music has radio play on radio 98.6 in Berlin and local stations in Hamburg, Spain, Slovenia and Serbia/Montenegro.

With her solo performance Moving South which premiered March 2006, she released a CD South with five songs and poems on Red Lotus Records. Now Lily has her own label Sibyl Sings and is recording two new CDs of new songs and poems.

For ALF Lily, Michael, Felicity and Rozemarie will perform a mixture of pieces whilst Julyen will read his inspiring poetry in an intimate evening performance at OT301.
