Join the ALF crew and mingle with fellow bookworms and visiting author or two on this relaxed two-hour cruise – with drinks and background chillout music – along the IJ and beyond... If it's sunny, the upper deck will be marvellous; if it rains, we'll baton down the hatches in the spacious hull.

The Sailboa, a historic 107-year-old clipper, will depart – and return to – Veemkade 251 in the Eastern Docklands (roughly opposite art hotel The Lloyd). It will lift anchor promptly at 15.00 so please arrive at 14.45 at the latest...

World Cuisine Buffet
After it arrives back at 17.00, those who wish to can join us onboard the Lizboa which will be moored nearby for a World Cuisine Buffet.
